Which AI assistants does this work with?
Honeycomb connects through MCP, an open standard, so it can work with assistants that support it, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot. Exact support varies by assistant and plan, and we help your team get set up.
What is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It lets AI assistants connect safely to other apps. For you, it just means Honeycomb shows up inside your assistant.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You connect Honeycomb once, then you chat the way you normally would.
Can an assistant publish changes without me?
No. Changes are prepared as drafts and a person reviews and approves them before they go live.
Will it see or change things I should not have access to?
It uses your Honeycomb account, so it can only do what you are already allowed to do.

For technical teams
Honeycomb exposes menu operations as MCP tools, so any MCP-capable assistant can call them with the caller's own permissions.
- MCP server with tools for reading menus, drafting changes, and reviewing drafts.
- Sign-in uses your Honeycomb account. Tool calls run with that user's permissions.
- Write tools create drafts only. Publishing requires an explicit approval step.
- The same actions are available from the Honeycomb command line and API.
