## The short version

Honeycomb connects to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot using MCP, an open standard for linking apps to AI. Once connected, your team can work with your menu by chatting, and changes are prepared as drafts for you to review before anything is published.

## Connect once. Then just chat.

1. **Connect Honeycomb.** Add Honeycomb to your assistant and sign in with your Honeycomb account. Your permissions come with you.
2. **Chat about your menu.** Ask questions, request changes, or generate documents. Say it the way you would say it to a colleague.
3. **Review and publish.** Changes are prepared as drafts. A person reviews them before anything goes live.

## Work on your menu wherever your team already works.

The same menu actions as the Honeycomb app, available inside the assistant your team already knows. A few examples of what people ask:

- **Update dishes.** Prices, descriptions, availability, and photos for one location or many. Example: "Update the spring menu prices".
- **Check and fix allergens.** Look up what is in a dish and adjust allergens and diets. Example: "Is the poke bowl dairy free?".

Honeycomb exposes menu operations as MCP tools, so any MCP-capable assistant can call them with the caller's own permissions.
